Cake smash sessions to celebrate a first birthday have been very popular for years now but with more and more parents not wanting their little one’s on a sugar rush we have been offering either fruit smash or in this case a splish splash session as an alternative.
If your little one loves water then this is a perfect session as they have such a blast. We have a selection of cute little outfits teamed with a floral crown or floral bonnet for girls.
Charlotte was not a fan of the floral crown in fact we had to move fast to capture these adorable shots of her before she ripped it off. But she loved the water and the pearls so all round a successful shoot. When working with children we understand we have to work at their pace and within their comfort limits. I never force parents or children and that way I ensure natural candid moments.
Now on the flip side I had baby Loulwah who just loved her floral bonnet and rocked the look. So again depends what your child is comfortable with but we have a number of options to experiment with so that we get some adorable images to treasure for a lifetime.
