I’m a huge fan of small, intimate gatherings to celebrate a wedding. Weddings are a big business and that means expenses mount up quickly so my advice to all couple planning their big day….focus on what is most important to you and spend your money on those aspects. The more guests, the more costs, so by just inviting your nearest and dearest you save money which can then be spent on those important details like your photographer. Its important to remember you will spend months planning and the actual day will fly by in a flash and after all the cake is eaten and the dress is tattered at the edges, all that will be left is the timeless images captured of your special day. So when cutting costs dont cut on the photographer, an experienced photographer is worth their weight in gold and more. Most seasoned photographers have intimate wedding packages that will easily fit your budget now that less hours required.
John and Anneke celebrated with just a handful of family & friends under a canopy of trees in Deer Park Forest, Cape Town.
By keeping the ceremony small & intimate they were able to choose one of their favorite restaurants for the reception where the focus was on the food and atmosphere.
